8 Foot Box

Can some one tell me if the 8 foot lwb is only availavle on the SE King Cab? Nissans brochure is not very informative.

If you go to www.nissanusa.com and click on the build a truck section, you will see that you can have the long bed in an XE, SE and LE. The Pro-4X is not available in the longer box version.

Sorry, but that's not correct. The Long Box IS available on the Pro-4x. I drove a long box Pro-4x two weeks ago, just before I bought the short box version.

Update: From the website you quote, the Pro-4X appears to be available in the longbed (7'-3") on the CC, but not in the KC (8'-2"). The option just isn't there in the Pro-4X category. Further investigation pending.......

The longest bed you can get on any crew cab is 7'3", only the KC has the 8' bed available on all trim levels.

EHHHHHHH!!! Not quite. The Pro-4X appears to NOT have the 8 foot bed available on the KC. All other KC trim has it, but the website doesn't allow you to spec a KC Pro-4X with the longbed.

If you have other supporting evidence, please present it. We'd appreciate it.

The Crew cab is available in all trim lines with both short and long wheelbase.

The King cab is available in XE, SE, and LE with both short and long wheelbase.

The King cab is available in Pro-4X in a short wheelbase version only.

This information comes from both the Nissan website, as well as the 2008 brochure.

Nissan is offering 4 different bed lengths across the board. KC gets 6' 7" and 8' and CC gets 5' 5" and 7' 3"

And for what it's worth... I love my Crew cab Pro-4X long bed!
