distance to empty and mpg

is there a way to add this feature to an 04 mine dosent have it and i like the feature can it be added if so how...

The scanguage plugs into your obII port and gives you this and much more for alittle over 150 bucks. I think it is scanguage.com, I have it and love it.

Mines like clockwork,8 gals remaining when fuel light comes on,104 miles to go.
When full divide miles driven by gallons pumped.
I have OEM navigation and the DTE is as conservative as the warning light.
The DTE estimation sucks,the MPG is usually right on.
I really liked my last Chevy truck had a gallons consumed function that was dead on when comparing to fill ups.If it said you used 23.2 gals,it took 23.2 gals to fill it.

I have Scanguage II as well ... dead on with gallons used and miles left and a lot more.

Completely agree, mine is usually accurate to within .2 gallons at every fillup.
