Optima 75/35 or 34R

It looks like I need a new battery as mine is starting to die. I've read through all the posts about Optima batteries. I'm confused...Optima says the 34R is the correct battery model for our trucks yet many members are using the 75/35. Is it because it fits better and dosen't take as much modification to work/fit? Does anyone have the 34R installed in their Titan? Pictures would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Re: Optima 75/35 or 34R

I have the 75/35 Red Top in mine.

It actually fits my Trans Am because it had side posts and because they didn't have the 34R...

Re: Optima 75/35 or 34R

I got the Optima blue top for my boat. It is a piece of sh!t. Only lasted about 18 months and it would have cost almost as much as a new one to get it prorated. Go to Walmart or Autozone and buy one of thiers. You can take all the money you save and do some more mods.
