Re: Titan offroad capability

We offroad the Titan all the time, and it got it's AZ pinstripes when it had 300 miles on it. It is a very competent 4x4.
This little thing is also pretty competent and we OR the snot out of it.

Re: Titan offroad capability

The Titan is great off road. The only things I thought that needed changing was the rear traction - Bought a true trac, front was a bit too low - Got the 2.5" front lift, and the Bridgestone Dueler 693 II stock tires SUCKED - Got Goodyear Wrangler w/ SAT.

Though I haven't installed the true trac yet, the other two modifications made a BIG improvement off roading.

Now the only thing I have to complain about is that the fan clutch is too damn sensitive.

Re: Titan offroad capability

this isn't boring like rock crawling and mudding but watching titans, with the exception of one or two, going in excess of 70+ mph and in some cases 80mph, thru the desert hitting whoops and washes is exhilarating!!!

i'd say the titan does pretty good!

Re: Titan offroad capability

Your truck should do good in everything except for rock crawling. That locker makes a hell of a difference. The ABLS sucks arse! I should have got the off road package. Can't wait for a real locker to come out, I'm not crazy about the true trac.

the video is deceiving... 70mph + thru that wash was pretty hairy for some. several had to slow down cause of the desert tortoises that were crossing the path. SD, well, SD just didn't give a shat and was bombing thru with reckless abandon and trying to nail the desert tortoises! talk about animal cruelty!
