Finally we got some good rain here in AZ and I took the truck out and started slinging mud everywhere. I just crawled underneath it and everything is covered in about 2-3inch thick mud. I tried using the hose to get it off but it was pretty much a no go. Does anyone know a good way to get all the mud out from underneath? Pressure Washer?
You're gonna have to go to a pressure washer at a self car wash. Put on a bathing suit and goggles (I'm not joking), and lay underneath and start spraying. It will take a longgg time!
This is what I used to do back in the day. Park your truck in the street, take the garden hose to it and place a sprinkler under it that will spray up. Turn the hose on and it will do the rest. You might have to move it to get all of the undercarriage. Worked for me!!

Yea, that works too...but I can never get enough pressure out of it to get it all.

That is an awesome idea. Anything it misses I will just go over with the pressure washer and rub down the shocks so they are all shiny again. Heck they are only 3 days old and they are brown now. How sad is that.
I wait until I go back on shift then hook up an 1 3/4" handline and hose it all off. Works great!!

If you're gonna take all that timer anyway, laying under your truck with your home garden hose should do the trick. It may take longer but......$2+ for what....4 minutes?...at a carwash can get pricey.

Don't those car wash places have a washer you drive through to clean under the car? Probably not alot of pressure though. What's the clearance height on most car washes anyways?

Drive through a rain storm making sure to go through all the deep puddles to spray out the underneath, that will get a lot of the big stuff off, and then you can finish it off with a pressure washer.

Damn, I live in a desert it could be a long time before I get a decent rain storm.
