One thing that would be nice is if I could somehow default the auto dimming mirror to off.

Another key fob tip (that is in the manual) is that if you hold the lock and unlock buttons for 2 seconds, you can shut off the horn beeping feature when you lock your doors. Use the same procedure to turn the feature back on.
Not so handy last night as I was playing guitar with my truck keys in my front pocket, rockin out, only to have my wife come in and say" why are your windows down"????

i don't like that window feature since you can't roll them back up without the key.

Off topic - am I the only one who hates how fast the little painted symbols wear out on the rubber buttons of just about any vehicles key fob?

Remember though that the feature allowing you to adjust your seats mirrors and peddals, is on LE models only. Also, if you unlock your truck using the key fob, it will automatically re-lock itself if you don't open a door within a minute or so. The re-lock time is adjustable on LEs (1 to 5 minutes) as well. The wifes Quest has the same feature.

I'm glad you brought that up about the auto relocking feature on the Quest. One day I had to unlock my wifes Quest from in the house, So I hit the button to unlock I saw the lights blink, Then I went and fixed my coffee when I finally got outside I went to pull the door handle and the van locked. Well we have a problem in my house with the kiddies playing with the buttons on the remotes. So when I went inside to see who was messing with me nobody new what I was talking about. So I hit the unlock button again and like a dummy I left the keys inside again. Went and got another cup of coffee and a bagel and guess what the door locked on me again. So short story long I guess I owe the kiddies an apology. It's amazing how much info is in the manual, Now if I could only pick it up a read it. lol

LMAO...Thankfully, I knew about this feature but was laughing while reading your story!!! In case you don't know, you can adjust that re-lock from OFF ( I believe) on up to 5 minutes. Funny story....lol...poor kids!
