Re: MPG on Nissan Titan CrewCab

I got about 13.5 MPG towing a fully loaded out 6x12' Uhaul from FL to VA. Oddly the sweet spot was about 75-80MPH...and I have a 6" lift and 35" tires

Re: MPG on Nissan Titan CrewCab

Stop Saying that Word!!! "T*ndra" lol, it's poison to our ears! haha.

I went from a 4 banger small passenger car... to the Great Titan! I knew what I was getting myself into, so I'm not suprised with the mileage... And besides... The Titan is a BLAST to drive!! Hella fast and powerful

But IF you want to save a couple bucks and still be able to have bed space... get a frontier =o)

Re: MPG on Nissan Titan CrewCab

I have 04 4x4 non bt and I get 15-16 mpg hwy driving 40 miles to work and a little in town. On longer trips I get 18 mpg but I think that the big tow has lower gears doesn't it so I would think that it would be a hair lower but evidently not much lower than mine. I wish I had the big tow on mine but bought mine used and didn't know much about the titan at the time except that I really liked it.

I have been looking into the Toyota Tundra CrewMax. It has a very big and fast engine! And has decent gas mileage. But what i dont like is the 5.6 foot bed. I would like atleast a 6.5foot bed. Thats why i was leaning toward the titan. But i need something with decent mileage and i can throw a quad or whatever needs to be thrown in the bed.

Forget the Titan. You’re too worried about gas mileage. You’ll never be happy with a big truck. Buy a Honda Civic.

Re: MPG on Nissan Titan CrewCab

I have an 08 LE, 4X4, CC, with BT. After 6 weeks and 2500 miles I'm getting 14 in mixed city and highway driving (70 miles round trip to work per day). I got the Titan after driving a an 00 Dodge Cummins. I can't tell you how happy I am with my decision to go with the Titan. I needed a comfortable drive to my office job and a really workhorse for my vineyard and winery. The cab is incredibly comfortable while the truck is redneck tough. Also, desiel here is 40 cents more per gallon than gas so I'm WAY ahead. But at this point I really don't care about the nickles and dimes, gas prices will always go up and down. I now have a truck that I LOVE to drive, love to work in, love to tow with and am looking forward to having for a looooong time.
Thinking about changing my screen name from OkieTitan to TRUE BELIEVER!

Re: MPG on Nissan Titan CrewCab

I am getting 16mpg combined. I have been driving pretty conservatively as I only got the truck 2 weeks ago.

The problem is the one time I needed to, I stomped on the pedal to overtake and it felt AWESOME... I can see my gas mileage is going to start going down from now on
