Hey guys i'm new to this site. Last weekend i picked up an 06' king cab LE 2wd in immaculate condition with 20k miles for 19 thousand. I think I got a good deal. Anyways I love the truck. The only reason I got one is cause my hemi got stolen and titans were the only trucks that could beat it. hehe. I'm just wondering what are the best cheap mods to get the most out of the motor. I'm planning on an intake, cat back. are there any other programmers or throttle bodies anyone recommends. thanks guys. Glad to be part of the fam.
JBA is the best cat back on the market performance wise in my opinion!!!!
If your Titan is FFV...Flex Fuel I'd say get S&B intake...if not I'd get Injen intake.
We don't have a huge amount of programming options.
But Osiris is the way to go!!!

Look up PGM "project giant mouth" custom throttle body developed with the GM 90mm throttle body. You may be surprised the first time you race a new Tundra, they are not to be underestimated but with the right mods, we are more than a match for them. Good luck and happy modding.

Welcome. It is nice to hear a former Hemi owner at least be honest about getting beat. Of course where I work, when the Hemi owners aren't honest, I just offer up a good ole showdown and that shuts them up one way or the other! Only been beat once! and he was HEAVILY modded. I told him to let me spend what he had spent and then we'd see.

Just wondering why you say S&B if its FFV and Injen if not?
From previous posts - I believe the gen 1 & 2 S&B's tend to make the non-FFV Titans run a bit lean. The gen 3 is OK for both FFV and non-FFV. I have a non-FFV with S&B gen 3. Have had no codes, with Magnaflow it runs like a beast.
Thanks guys. Ya you wouldn't believe what a beast my hemi was in cold conditions. But when the sun comes out the motor couldn't deal with the heat and just fell on its face. Well I think I'm going to go with the JBA exhaust. Is the banks really as loud as everyone says it is? When I say loud I mean I only had a glasspack on my last truck. It was unbelievably loud.
