wow that bed bounce is bad. It looks like their C channel frame and weak bed reinforcements is the cause
This video is as phoney as a 3 dollar bill. It's also rigged. I viewed this months ago over at FTE. Notice when the Ford goes over those same bumps, the video is shot from the left front quarter, which shows very little of the Ford's bed (and bounce).
When did anyone here ever see anything on youtube that was real?
The same boxed/C channel frame on Tundras is similar to the frames of the last generation of Ford Stupor Duty's.
Boxed to the rear of the transmission...Heavy C channel to the companion flange (yoke to pinion gear) on the rear axle, smaller C channel to rear.

real or fake its propiganda and I like probiganda We all know that the ford is slow and can't shake a stick to us but seeing a tundra wobble like that really proves my theory on the c channel frame they skimped on.

Bull scheiss!
I've driven them all, the Tundra bed bounce isn't any worse than Ford's. Loosen up a few bed hold down nuts, and see what happens.
Ford used the EXACT same set up on the previous generation Super Duty.
Pickups used C channel beginning with the 1924 Dodge 3/4 ton Express, the first purpose built pickup. No one said a word about C channel durability till Ford (and Titan) first offered fully boxed frames in 2004.
I like propaganda too...if it's true...this bed bounce video ain't!
I just created a thread about Consumer Reports stating that they have found reliability issues with the Camry and the new V8 tundra. They said that Toyota's reliability has been slipping.
I seem to remember a thread you started on tundrasolutions entitled "The first problem with my Tundra".
True story, it was about the Line-x bed liner I had installed, which caused the tailgate not to close completely. It took me awhile to realize that it wasn't Toyota's fault.I had this done as soon as I got the truck and had never opened the tailgate until it was Line-Xed. All I had to do was to put the rubber bump stops in a vise and the problem was solved.
I did have a clip on the door panel that was loose from the factory. When I had the XM installed in the NAV I had them reattach it, it was nothing I could not have done myself.
Therefore, no trips to dealer for warranty work yet.
In the same time period with my 05 Titan I would have gone to the dealer 12 times. That would be 1800 extra miles just for warranty work and an additional $300 in fuel. The Titan was very expensive to own.
