Attention 08 Owners??

Is it possible to get the Big Tow package by itself on the SE? Or do you have to add the Trac Prackage, popular package and bed package? I ask because I was trying to build a 08 on NissanUSA and it said I must add all 3?

Thank you

Re: Attention 08 Owners??

My black KC SE came with all of them on the lot but I wanted them anyway. I'm trying to think why you couldn't get just the tow package. For example, the bedliner and utili-trac have nothing to do with the towing package.

Thanks typehxr1,

My thoughts exactly. On Edmunds.com it lets me add the Big Tow without adding the other 3. On Nissanusa when I try to build one, it says I must add all 3?? Any 08 owners out there with Big Tow only??

Re: Attention 08 Owners??

I believed that to be the case. I know in 05 when I got mine, all 2wd BT came with Trac Package.

Re: Attention 08 Owners??

on 08s if you want the big tow you will have to get the others too. It is a package deal.

Re: Attention 08 Owners??

It's been that way for several years at least. I figure it is a marketing ploy by Nissan; make the tow package look reasonably priced, but then tie it to unrelated expensive high-markup packages. Of course, then they end up having to discount heavily to sell the trucks, so I suppose it washes out in the end.
