Question 0-60mph time for a stock 08 Titan

My name is Charles. This is my first post. I just got myself and 08 Titan this past weekend. Got a performance question.

0-60mph?

Extended Cab, 2 wheel drive. 100% bone stock.

All I can find is for crew cab 4x4's listed at 7.3 seconds.

Also, what about 1/4 mile times?

7.3 for a 4x4 crew cab is pretty neat for stock... i can't wait to pick mine up!

Actually I found a pdf of a popular science magazine article that gave top rankings to the Nissan titan. Unfortunately it exceeds the upload size so I can't attach it. You can find it off of Nissan's website in the 'awards section.'

This article claims the following on an 08 Titan off road model (unloaded):
0-30 in 2.9
0-60 in 7.68
40-70 in 6.04
1/4 mile - 15.78 @ 86.82mph

*edited for spelling*

Wow...7 seconds. Mine must be even faster. It's not 4x4. That has to add some weight. Was that C&D test with a crew cab or just the regular king cab? Mine is just the regular king cab.

Re: 0-60mph time for a stock 08 Titan

I remember when I was a kid and the 5.0 Mustangs became really popular their 0-60 time was in the low 6's - The fact that a 5000+ lb truck is only a second slower is totally amazing. These things can really move when needed.

Subaru WRX is in the low 6's. The fact that a truck can come near that is very impressive.
