How to replace 12V outlet? -what all has to come off?

Im not sure what forum to put this in, but Im trying to replace the passenger side 12V outlet in my 08 titan. None of my accessories stay plugged in to that outlet since it has a different depth than the drivers side one.

So to get to the outlet, what all needs removed? (See the pic attached)

I have the center console so Im assuming the gear shift knob has to come off. Then maybe the plastic piece around the center pops off.
The remove the plastic piece as shown in the pic #3. But will this piece remove with the outlets in?
If all of this goes as planned, I will have access to the outlet shown in #4.

please tell me what steps ive missed? Or if Im way off base, let me know.
