Re: Yeahhh Buddies!!! PRO-4X In my Driveway

For the windows on my truck; push and hold unlock on the key fob until windows start to lower. Keep holding until almost all the way down for them to go all the way.

My wheel locks(ordered from nissan) came w/ a key. I don't think they'd be much good without one. I'd give the dealer hell. They ALWAYS make something from the deal. My 2 cents.

Thanks for this info! I know they are making money on me, just wish they were a little more honest about it. I mean to say the wheel locks don't come with keys and not honor something that is written on the window sticker??

its no wonder why most people cant stand dealers/salespeople

Re: Yeahhh Buddies!!! PRO-4X In my Driveway

Welcome. Nice truck. Make the dealer stick to what you started with unless it was in writing that it was not to be honored. If you still have the window stickers, that will help. Now you know why we call them stealerships!!!! It is a shame, greed is consuming the world in every aspect it seems.

Re: Yeahhh Buddies!!! PRO-4X In my Driveway

No car is sold at a dealership for less than $2500 in profit. Get that out of your head first.

If you were sold a Titan with Nissan wheel locks on it, they need to crap you a key for the lock today. Period, no discussions to be entertained.

If the window sticker says it is going to come with a free tint job included, they need to crap a prepaid coupon for that Tint shop, or give you a gift card for a tint job at the shop of your choice. Should not cost more than $150 for a crewcab.

Should they choose to be stupid about it, politely demand to see the General manager. Give him/her the chance to honor thier debt to you. Should he/she choose not to, tell him/her your next stop is the local news station about the crappy servie and bait-n-switch techniques going on at said dealership.
.
If you do end up at the local tv place, be sure you post the stealerships name on all of the foruma with exact reasons they should never see a bit of business from anyone who ever reads the threads.

see example below.....
R Stempler Nissan in Edgewood & Aberdeen, Maryland vanished. I went to Florida on 8/28 and got a call on 8/31 that the buildings were empty and everything was gone. Bought seven from this dealer since 2002, not to mentioned countless $$$ in service and parts. Service crew was great but they have vanished overnight without a word.

Maybe some kind of alien abduction!!!!

Nice truck.

In the finance dept i did ask for the extnded warranty and they refused. I bought nothing additional but did manage to haggle down to a decent rate of 5.99%. So for the next 72 months i will be paying a little over 500 bucks for something i believe to be well worth it, the best 1/2 ton out there.
You may want to get GAP insurance on your loan. On a 72 month note it could really save you in the event of a total loss. On average you don't break even until 48 months.

Hold the unlock button on your keyfob down till the windows unroll normally takes 2-3 seconds of holding it down to start them going
