No dealer uses either of those. They use some sort of black book numbers. No dealer gives that kind of money. If they do, they simply screw you on the new one to make up for it. They ALWAYS make up for it. Nobody ever makes out better than the dealer.

The seats are also made of a totally different material. '04-'07 Titans have some sort of neoprene material. They stain easily and aren't very durable. The seats, other than the material, are identical. I guess I was looking for more of a difference than just that. The dash?....no difference that I could tell. But I didn't notice anything painted on either truck....guess I didn't look that hard. Basically, they're updated a bit but...nothing major. Unless they can locate one with EXACTLY what I'm lookiong for, I'll wait for the ALL NEW Titan in 09 or 10.

I don't think I'd go for a Diesel. But Nissan is ready for an ALL NEW Titan very soon. Nissan usually does major design changes after about 5 model years or so. We'll see. Um....unless my dealer hunts me down a white PRO4X...lol.

Why would you want to use a VPP when you can do better on your own. Right now you can get an 08 at or below invoice + $5000 in rebate. You need to remember that the 2008.5 have $3000 rebate only and the 2008 are getting low at dealer lots. Right now, No other full size truck has the rebate that Nissan is offering. Ford just announced $4500 on their POS F150. I think this is the highest rebate will ever see. Most are cutting production so they don't end up with high inventory at the dealer lots. Also, your truck will loose a good chunk of its value when we hit 2008. Right now your truck in many buyer eyes is a three year old. In 20 days, it will be 4 years old and that will be reflected in the trade value you are going to get. Good luck. Either way, you will have the best half ton in the market today.

Yep. Still her her! My dealer can't get me what I want anyhow. She's a good ole girl anyhow...still purrs like a kitten....or is that....roars like a lion?! I'm very happy with my 04, but if an 08 or 08.5 comes around with what I want and the price I want, I'll look into it. It was just hard to pass up the price...but I don't want a black truck....glad I didn't settle.

Smithtown Nissan in St. James NY has one in Blizzard.
Jerry Rome Nissan in Springfield MA has one in Blizzard with leather buckets.

Id jump on it without question. But then again, I Hate chrome. But your truck is pretty old and it would be a nice upgrade I'm sure.
