Re: Keep my white 04 SE or go for an 08 PRO4X? HELP!

I actually agree with you Muskyhunter. I prefer the front ends with chrome than entirely panted. Just gives the front a meaner look. It could go with a little less chrome so your idea may work out pretty well.

I like the chrome, but the painted front on the Pro 4x is growning on me, it has a cleaner look, although the chrome is more durable.

Re: Keep my white 04 SE or go for an 08 PRO4X? HELP!

I didn't think I'd like the painted front end myself. I'm not sure yet if I like the white front end or if I just like it for now because it's different. Not a big deal though because if I decide I prefer chrome, a few hundred bucks will remedy that.
The one nice thing is that the lower center part of the bumper that's usuall chrome isn't painted plastic. It's painted metal so...it should hold up fairly well. I think the paint overall is better now.

Re: Keep my white 04 SE or go for an 08 PRO4X? HELP!

I am shopping around too. The used Titan seems like a great deal. That new off-road edition must be stronger than all of them!!! Maybe it has bigger tires to. So if I go with a used Titan was there an off-raod edition?

Re: Keep my white 04 SE or go for an 08 PRO4X? HELP!

You might want to consider getting that bug deflector painted white to get away from that "mustache" look. For painting plastics, I would suggest wet sanding the bug deflector with a fine grit paper. See my air dam painting thread.

I love the smoked bug deflector! I think it looks more like a mean uni-brow than a mustache...lol.

I guess it would be more of an eyebrow than mustache.
