Hmmmm... Kinda wishy washy... Those guys seem to be able to be swayed either way........................... J/K!!!! That was a great synopsis of the attributes of this truck! We definitely need more of that out there!
What they really need to do is get off their lazy development asses and start making the trucks like the Armed forces and Government buys by the 100's of thousands. Not to mention state and local governments.
How much money has Nissan thrown at the new GTR compaired to the truck market. Let's see how many $80000 GTR's are they gonna sell ...WORLD WIDE! Not 60000 I'm sure. Stupide IDIOT's. They should have had a 3/4 and one ton by 2006 and a Diesel by NOW!!!
If they quite making Titans I'll just go over to the next best truck Toyota.

Pickup truck buyers have given the Nissan Titan a lukewarm response since its introduction in late 2003, in part because of the limited model range: The Titan offered no V-6 engine or single-cab configuration, and its bed maxed out at just 6.5 feet long. For 2008, buyers finally have the option of an 8-foot bed, which most other pickups offer. Unfortunately, a V-6 and single cab version are still MIA, which means the cheapest trim level costs some $8,000 more than a base Chevy Silverado or Ford F-150. Throw in a spotty reliability record, and the Titan doesn't seem headed for widespread appeal anytime soon.
The Titan might be a solid choice for some, but if Nissan wants to broaden its appeal, it needs to improve the truck's reliability and lower its base price — that means single cabs, V-6 engines and manual transmissions. There have been reports that Nissan may add a V-6 somewhere down the road, and possibly a diesel engine too. Future possibilities mean little right now, though, and in a competitive segment with at least three entrenched leaders, the Titan of today still falls short.
And those very two options they mention that are missing might have given the truck a shot at fleet sales. Give a guy a truck to drive for work and he might like it enough to buy one for himself. Win-win. It's a big segment that Nissan missed out on with the Titan, IMHO.

Skyhammer please go back to your tundra forums and continue bashing the titan there getting real sick of ya over here. Just go over to tundrasolutions and see what this guy writes you would think the freakin titans everyone of them blow up the second they get on pavement.
Here, here Skyhammer needs to go away he is useless and does not contribute to anthing positive to this forum.I am sick and tired of him as well. all he does is go around the Internet bashing the Titan. You don't own a Titan anymore go pi$$ on your Tundra and spare us your drama. If one of the Moderators are looking please do something about this guy its obvious what hes doing hanging around here, and it isn't beneficial to us in any way. When 90% of your posts are negative about our Titans something needs to be done!

I just saw this on one of my other forums and had to pop on over here.
I have always thought highly of Mr. Ghosn, but if he were to kill off thee best truck I have ever owned my opinion of him will change, and change dramatically!
I honestly can't believe the 60k some units sold, I'm sure that's the truth but WTF?, I find it hard to believe the silly Tundra sells so well compared to the Tundra.
Come on Nissan, do something about making yourself more successful, you have a great product, it's time more people knew about it!!!

skyhammer has not violated any rules and has as much right to post information and his opinion as much as any other member of this forum.
If you don't like what he has posted you have the right (maybe not the ability) to refute what he has to say with information, data, opinions, feelings, etc. of your own, in a gentlemanly manner.
You also have the ability to put skyhammer on your ignore list so you can't see what he posts or just ignore and not respond to anything he has to say.
What you don't have the right to do is act like a child, attack an individual just because you don't like his opinion, and demand that he leave this site because he has a difference of opinion from your own, or even the majority of the site members.
skyhammer does not always "dis" the Titan and has provided very good information on this truck, other trucks and things not even truck related.
There are other members of this site who have posted nothing but anti-Titan diatribes based on their opinions formed from their unfortunate experiences.
Granted, we who love our truck and are loyal because of it, don't like to hear the same people complaining about the same stuff, post in and post out, but that is the nature of the beast, and I respectfully request that you get over it.
In the end, the only thing that matters is how you feel about your truck, it doesn't matter what some one else thinks.

Re: Ghosn hints at killing Nissan Titan
Ya know, there may be something to this. Look at Isuzu. Would you buy from them again after owning anything they made in the 80's? I thought not.
But then along comes Honda, and shazam! They have Isuzu build their "trucks" (and by trucks, I mean the Passport and yes the Ridgeline), then they stick their Honda badge on it and sell it for more money. But you also get a dealer network that's responsive, stocks the parts, and knows what they're doing when they open the hood.
Let me throw some gas on the fire here: Would you buy a Titan from, say, Dodge, if you knew Nissan had designed and built it? What about from Chevrolet? Both of them would probably leave the line alone, but Ford would demand cheaper everything, probably beginning with the driveline parts. But you'd be able to get 35 different interiors...

LMAO...Although I agree that Skyhammer does have the right to speak his mind, you should have known you were gonna get the usual shoulder chip response you ended up with....
