The funny thing is that the Titan has sold more units than any vehicle in the Infiniti division. Even more than the G35 sedan. I am sure they will not stop making any of the Infiniti units just because of low volume if they are still probitable. Nissan must be losing $ or making very little on every Titan sold.
Exactly, it's all based on profit margin. Nissan might be making $10,000 for every Infiniti, whereas they might be losing $500 for every Titan...or something like that.
hopefully that being posted yesterday and this thread hitting 6 pages is proof that the titan does infact have it's market share and kicks ***.
consider that 90% of posters here are happy with their titan and would replace it with a newer model. that says a lot. some of you are fortunate to own 2 of these..
i nearly puked when i read of the dodge/nissan marriage.. ew. are they trying ot make the titan ****ty and sell less of them?

Unfortunately, 77 posts on a internet forum isn't going to save the Titan.
i'm sure this has been posted elsewhere but even Nissan has pulled out of all Nissan Motorsports in North America. which means NO MORE CORR RACING Titan, which Carl Renezeder dominated CORR with in the PRO2 circuit with his P2 2wd Titan. now that Nissan is no longer in the mix, Renezeder must revert back to his old brand he raced with... a chevy silverado. THANKS A WHOLE LOT NISSAN! YOU F***ING A**HOLES!!!!!!!!!!
w....t.....f.....I had not heard that yet. That right there pisses me off so much. Why in the hell would you pull out of North America in motorsports? CORR is the only type of racing I can watch without being bored to tears (aka NASCAR (sorry if that pisses you NASCAR fans off, but I just don't see the thrill in that sport)). I don't even know what else to say besides that I'm really pissed off right now.

Like someone else said, taking the strenghts of both the titan and the ram and putting them together to make one truck would be badass. Butwhen they do happen to mix the trucks together everyone knows that they will not use the 5.6. They will still use the hemi because of the name and because it sells. We cant let this happen. Gohsn is an *** clown for even talking about killing the titan. The only thing they need to do is make one more commercial showing the interior, power and reliability of this truck and they will be selling like hot cakes. Whoever is in charge of advertising this truck is stupid! lets all email nissan and tell them how we feel.

I swear I read in a magazine a couple of months ago that Nissan fired their head of advertising and hired Ford's old advertising executive. I don't remember what magazine that was, but I know I read it somewhere. But I compeletly agree with you guys. Lack of advertising is killing sales of the Titan, not the Titan killing itself.

I do think we need to get all the forums together and send a mass group of emails/letters to Nissan N. America. telling them how much we love our trucks.
That's a damn good idea.

All I can say is that IF Ghostman gets his way I'll VOW TO NEVER BUY NISSAN AGAIN. Reasoning being how can I buy a truck/car knowing that it will not be there 5 years later for repairs. This is Absurb. I'll even go out of my way to self destruct my own TITAN and I'll you tube it. 10lbs of nitrous with no jetting ought make for quick video...about the lifespan of Nissans Titan. Then I'll send it to Jessie James to shoot with his turret mounted automatic after we try and make it a Monster Garage DODGE.
The CORR pull out is despicable! I'm with ya Hooli!

But that's not what they would do...it would be a Ram badged as a Titan. Combining the strengths of the Ram with the strengths of the Titan would cost money..and the whole point is for them to save money and produce a cheaper truck, so they can make more money.
Just saying...it's the truth. They're in the business of making money, and the Titan is not doing that for them.
nah, i know what ya mean man... it's just hard to believe i guess. i just don't want to look back one day and have to say "remember the titan" (no movie pun intended) "that was one hell of a truck"
like many others i drove everything, but i own a titan...

Same here...we still just gotta remember, it's all talk right now. It's not cancelled until it's cancelled. I do hope it never happens.
The logical thing for Nissan to do is get some kind of market research study started out there to see the potentials of the Titan is for the near future. Anyone here get any recent survey/study requests surrounding the trucks that they own?
One guy saying they may drop the Titan does not mean it will necessarily happen. However, for them to be considering it still sucks.
