Re: Installed ScangageII today!!!

Couple of questions if you guys can help.

Is the Blend mount seperate? What other ways are there to mount if you didnt want it permanent? Where did you order it and whats a good price?

Thanks.

go to MGTmotorsports.com and they sell it as a set. The Blendmount is quality aluminum and fit together very nicely. I put the whole thing in in like 30 mins in the parking lot at work yesterday. The only reason it took that long was because I had to find the best postioning for the mount and spacers. Your best bet is to call because you need to make sure you order the right bracket. I had to order the 3/4" one cause I have an 05. The 06+ guys should use the 7/8" bracket.

Aslo, I know this thing will pay for itself in a year or so because I averaged 15.7 mpg this morning on my normal commute. I just have to be careful because I can't keep my eyes off of it while im driving.

you could always mount it with the velcro right on the windshield at the top next to the rear view mirror. Only bad thing is that the glare will make it hard to see during the day.

The code reader works just fine...It reads Check Engine Light codes. Slip light and Airbag light do not generate codes.

That is where I put mine. you have to remove the left and right side lower panels, and the shifter console(if you have captains chairs) then the radio cover, then the whole thing pulls off. It is way easier to cut with it off. There is plenty room to mount it in that location.

Re: Installed ScangageII today!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!! I am so glad that my thread sold a few more.

I Emailed Linar logic on the 21st and got a reply that they are just waiting for the nissan codes to be given to them.

Nissan is on the list, but so far we haven't received the codes.

Subject: X-gage for Nissans

I just recently bought a ScangageII and love it. I was wondering when you all will be working on NISSAN codes. I am very interested in getting the Transmission Temp gage option added to my ScangageII for my 2005 Nissan Titan.

thank you,

Chris

I don't have any pics of it installed, and right now it is in my car. I could take a pic of the cut out, if you wanted. But I really don't feel like pulling all that apart to put it back in.
