Re: High schoolin' titans

Damn, I wish I could have gotten a Titan when I was in High School! All I had was an incomplete 69 Camaro project car with no engine or drivetrain. But it was tubbed with a 12 point roll cage.

Didn't work too well for you guys either.

I had numerous cars in high school but my fav was the 95 Jag XJS, maroon with tan top. That was when I was 16-17, 17-18 was my '98 Tahoe Sport....loved that thing.

sounds like me only mine was a 94 nissan altima and my sister crashed it within 1 month of me giving it to her.

Re: High schoolin' titans

My dad was gonna trade in our Titan (2005 LE crewcab 4x4) for an Escalade but I loved it! he ended up getting a 2005 Mustang GT and so he gave me the Titan. I'm lucky enough to get it anf I'm only a Junior. My monster is one of the best cars in the parking lot and I'm the one being asked to drive my friends home now! (plus its a great snow plow)

Re: High schoolin' titans

I had an '82 GMC Sonoma in high school that my Dad bought for my 16th birthday (in '97). It was a good little truck. I wish I had kept it.

Re: High schoolin' titans

This thread brought back fond memories. I bought my Titan 20 years after graduating high school! Back then, my mom let me use her '85 Nissan KC 4x4. First day with my license, I took it down some trails that we used to hit on our BMX bikes (the trails seemed wider on our bikes), trail got too narrow and the truck slid off the sidehill and luckily a tree was there to stop us. Mom was not happy. Eventually, I talked her into letting me mod it a bit --- added a Weber carb, Rancho lift, 33" BFG's, rollbar (those were considered cool back then), KS lights, etc. I ended up rolling the thing. End of story.

Re: High schoolin' titans

My son turned 16 in August and a sophmore in HS, out of everything he could have had he wanted a Titan. So he ended up with a 2005 LE Crew Cab fully loaded including DVD player. First upgrade was duels with Flowmaster 50, then a Tech12volt sub/amp/enclosure setup, then came the PRG 2" leveling kit. Billet Grill and now the 22" Eagle Alloy tires/rims are at this moment with Fedex being shipped from New Jersey (bought em from HPDTITAN in the buy/sell section)..........

Damn I need to delete this site from my favorites.......this is getting expensive!!!!!!
