06 and 07 same exhaust setup

hey Guys, I'm getting an exhaust from a titantalk member and drove up today but unfortunately we couldnt get the dual exhaust off. I'm making another trip to tomorrow so we can go to a muffler shop together and do the swap. Just wanted to make srue before I make the drive again that the 2006 CC and 2007 CC has the exact same setup for a easy swap. Thanks!

Re: 06 and 07 same exhaust setup

The 07 has a different exhaust. The 06 will have two pipes into a y-pipe and a single inlet to the muffler. The 07 will not have a y-pipe and dual inlets into the muffler. Other than that, they should be basically the same. The only other difference is the length and shape of the exhaust tip.

so the exhaust setup is different but it can be swapped without any fitting problems though right?

Yes, it can be swapped, but you have to take everything from the cat's back to swap them out. It's all or nothing....

Exactly, I have an 07 system on my 06, and everything lines up perfectly, but the entire system has to be switched.
