Re: ????? for all you titan experts?????

The easiest to maintain would be the AEM, don't have to oil it. That is why I bought it anyway.

Re: ????? for all you titan experts?????

more hp, yes.

Void your warranty? it shouldnt, unless they can prove that the intake caused the damage.

Better gas mileage? maybe, maybe not. I guess it depends. Some people saw
a little increase, i saw a 50 mile loss in my range (310 miles till fillup from 360 in stock form).

Re: ????? for all you titan experts?????

The easiest one to install would be the stillen. It uses the factory intake tube and all you do is swap out the box.

Re: ????? for all you titan experts?????

S&B was super easy. Just one bolt and 3 band clamps. It is only loud when you want it to be, my mileage has gone down, but it has only been on a couple of weeks. I'm hoping it will come back to where it was after a few hundred miles.

Re: ????? for all you titan experts?????

The AEM wasn't "hard"to install, nor was it "easy". It was medium. You really don't need to follow the directions verbatim. For example, I didn't jack up the truck and thus didn't remove the LFT. So, as you might expect, I didn't fasten those 4 small bolts between the new box and the truck itself. The box was plenty study with just the 2 bolts.

The biggest ***** was the wiper fluid resevoir. I hate that ****er.

Re: ????? for all you titan experts?????

I have the Fram version of the AEM. I like prefered the intake tube color to the AEM's shiny version. The Fram is more a grayish. Plus it's a dry filter too, so no oil to mess with. Can hear it if I really step on it and the radio is off. Like Mathews said, the worst part is the washer resevoir. Lost a fair amount of knuckle skin getting it out of the way.

Re: ????? for all you titan experts?????

For the AEM, there is no need to take out the washer bottle. Just yank at the box. I made a HOW-TO guide when i installed mine. Its in the How-to/DIY forum if your interested in seeing what is involved.

How To: Installing AEM Bruteforce Intake
