08 titan shakes in 4th gear

I bought an 08 CC, 2WD Titan two weeks ago. I love the truck but am having one issue and was wondering if anyone else has seen this. Occasionally when it goes to 4th gear at low speed (30-40 mph) the truck shakes, at times very badly. If I accelerate a little more it downshifts, instantly smooths out, then continues to shift normally. Any input as to what might be causing this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I went through most of those posts, and it sounds like they are having continuous shaking that always recurs. Mine only does it on rare occasion (I can just hear it now, "Could not duplicate the problem". It feels like something in the transmission/axel/driveshaft. I guess "shake" doesn't describe it very well, maybe more of a broad shudder? If that makes sense.

When it shifts, and shudders, note the RPM's. It could be the engine is trying to make the power, but spinning too slow, causing it to shake, as though you shifted into too high a gear with a manual trans.

It could be the shift point is too low in yours.

*I don't have any personal experience with this, it's just a thought.*
