I've have a few threads on here about the headlights on the Titan and wanted to see how many people find there STOCK lights just plain suck...now the reason I thought I'd post this is because I complained about my lights on my customer satisfaction card that I received when I bought my truck in December. I got a call this week from a Nissan customer service rep and she claims that I'm the first person she has seen complain about the lights not being bright enough. Well, LOL I told her about TT and asked her to check on here. She says that they have people that look at the forums and will have them check it out. Has anyone else complained to corporate about their lights? I figure it can't hurt, maybe they'll do something about it or at the very least make improvements on future models if enough folks complain. Hell maybe I'm one of the few that feel the lights suck, but I doubt it.
I have no complaints about my headlights. I changed the ones in my 04 to HIDs just because I liked the look. I've yet to reinstall them in my 08. The 08s sit more level so maybe the aim is better now?...I don't know because I don't remember not liking the 04s.

i don't have any problems with my headlights, almost every time i drive the titan i have someone flashes their brights at me. i don't know if its because they are that bright or if its the height of the truck or a combination of both. i do drive with the fogs on all the time and i guess that helps illuminate the road closer to the truck then just headlights alone. o also i still have stock bulbs, but when one bulbs goes i'm either going to get silverstars or maybe a HID kit if the cash flow is good.

There's not doubt that the stock headlights could be brighter, but they are just plain old lights. I wouldn't cry to Nissan for that, heck we got real issue's to complain to them about...
I replaced all my bulbs with Sylvania Ultra's and that made a real difference, got all the bulbs thru Ebay for like $50 shipped...

Oh yeh....I replaced the screw that holds on the mirror with a trick black oxide one that nobody will see or care about...
I don't think the lights are that bad. On deserted roads, the highbeams really throw a lot of light in a wide band. Honestly, I would like to see a factory HID option, at least in the upper trim levels. I like the light output of HID's and the way they look. But the stockers aren't bad... Then again, if I need instant daylight, I just toggle my Lightforces into action! You can land airplanes by those things!
When I had the stock bulbs I was always getting flashed like I had my hi's on. The only reason I changed them out is because after 3yrs one (p-side) burned out.

check out my trucks transformation.
I didnt think my 04 OEM lights were bright enough. I have went through several lighting setups until I found the one I love. Ended up with HID D2R 4300k low beams, Silverstar highs, Piaa yellow halogen fogs. The white HID's coupled with the yellow fogs are very nice to drive with.
No problems here, but I would like to upgrade to HID for the look. IMHO Silverstars are not worth the money. From past experience I noticed that once one Silverstar bulb goes out and you replace it with a new one, the other side then goes out (Maybe my other vehicle was haunted) and they dont last all that long either to me at least.
Now if Nissan tells you that they will fix your headlights, then Im gonna go complain about my crap cloth seats that stain from water!
I didn't think mine were bright enough so I replaced them with Silverstars. I've been pleased with the results.

Yeah, the seats staining from water sucks. My entire passenger seat is stained from my wife getting in the truck while she was wet. Of course, I haven't tried to get the stain out.
