It reprograms your ECU to do whatever you want it to do... WOT control, HP, remove throttle governor, etc.... You tell them what you want it to do and it's programmed.

It costs $700 and is NOT available for the '08 yet. You can go to the Uprev website http://www.uprev.com/ and read all about it and watch for the version for your truck...
Ok so....what do you get for $700 exactly? Do you have to send them your ECU, do they send you a cord that connects to the OBDII port and give you programs for your laptop? What usable gains are people seeing real world? Does is do the 2* advance also? I'd be interested when they come out with the 08 version.

You can visit them in Austin for a dyno-tuned flash.
You can send them your ECU for a reflash. That is downtime for your truck. That costs $500 with reflashes costing $300.
Or you can buy the Osiris program where they send you the tunes on a disk, you install it on your laptop, hook up to your OBDII port with the supplied cable, flash your own ECU, run the truck for a while, take reports from the ECU to your laptop and send them to Uprev for revisions to your tune. The Osiris costs $700 but the adjustments are all free. They then email you an update and you reflash your ECU the same way you did it the first time.
Well......for $700.00 you get WOT form 0mph to start with. Thats a huge difference. You get the best tuners for the Titan period. They started off tuning 350z's & G35's. Essentially our Vk56 is just the same motors but with 2 more cylinders. The e-tunes are still free for now. Your speed governor is removed (good times). You get 3-4 custom & stock settings to choose from via your cruise control buttons. It is by far the best bang for your buck performance wise.
I have a 2008.5 can I do the up rev also I tow my toy box once in awhile what will that do to my truck. Does anyone do the up rev in socal I live in sunny San diego. I dont have any mods yet but am going to do intake and exhaust.
It's not available on the '08 or '08.5 yet. ECU is different. And anybody anywhere can "do the Uprev". You buy it yourself. It doesn't matter where you live.....
Does the Cruise Control still work??? Also, Is there a way to tune for 87 Octane. Well that shouldn't really to me anyway since it's only 10 cents more a gallon for 91. Still intrested though.

Yes, your cruise control still works. It's all explained on the website. Take a minute and check it out. You just use the cruise buttons to toggle between setups.
And you can run the tune with any fuel you want, as long as you tell them that. But to get the most benefit out of the settings, you should run a higher octane. More octane allows more power. It's just physics..... Now, if you're not interested in 1/4 mile times and dropping .01 seconds off your time, you may not notice the difference. It's all in how you drive your truck and what exactly you want out of it.
BB, are you saying that Uprev was is only good for .01seconds off the quarter?
No. Not at all! What I was basically getting at is that the track guys, wanting to get every single millisecond of speed out of the truck, will want to use 93 octane. For an everyday driver, you can use the tune with a lower octane, save a few $$$$, and still have some decent gains from the tune... just not quite as much as if you used the more expensive 93 octane, that's all.
Let me add that UpRev has been great to work with so far. I read a lot about their product on the forum here but still had some questions so I contacted them via e-mail. Matt was very helpful & quick to respond.
Yep, no support yet for us 08 guys on UpRev or TruTrac... If you email the guys at UpRev they'll put you on a list though.
Why wouldn't the TruTrak work on an 08? I don't know of any changes that would exclude the use of the TT on an 08.
