Buying a Titan tomorrow

Just thought I would say hello, I am hopefully buying an '04 4x4 Black SE KC Titan tomorrow if everything goes well. I currently have a '99 SS Camaro that I will be selling shortly after. I have been looking around for a new truck for awhile now and I have owned a Chevy HD (hated it) looked at the Tundra and the Tacoma but I test drove the Titan and I love it. Anyways if you guys have any advise on anything I need to know b-4 I buy please let me know. Thanx!!

Re: Buying a Titan tomorrow

dont pay too much! i thought i was getting a great deal on my 04 XE CC for $23,000 and i was wrong. Either way, I really love my Titan, and you can't really go wrong with one. Even though I did pay too much, I'd do it all over again. Titans are the best trucks you buy. Good Luck!!!

Re: Buying a Titan tomorrow

They are asking $15,900 and I am going to offer them $14,500 OTD so I think that is a really good price w/ 61,000 miles on it.

Re: Buying a Titan tomorrow

have you looked it up on KBB.com? I would do that but it sounds reasonable.

Re: Buying a Titan tomorrow

Well I am kinda on a budget so I was lucky to find this one at this price b/c I haven't found anything else close to that. If I had i would probably be going w/ the CC rather than the KC. What problems are there with the '04 and '05's compared to the '06?

Re: Buying a Titan tomorrow

Im not sure if there are any. The 06 may just have more options. I havent had any problems with my 04 and I love it.

Re: Buying a Titan tomorrow

check to see if the rear differential has been replaced and the brakes. I would get an extended warranty.

Alot of people experienced the "brake judder" issue, and they're were alot of problems with the rear diffs failing. Try doing a search to see some threads on the subjects.

Re: Buying a Titan tomorrow

But then again if its got 60 thousand on it Im sure all the bugs are worked out. I was looking at an 07 for about 22000 and ended up buying new out the door 29000 because I wanted all the good options they have on the 2008.5 trucks. You will love any titan Im sure. I love mine.
