Firewall Help

I need some ideas on how or where a good place would be to run 12-8G wire through the firewall. I plan to hook up my ham radio and I need to run the power straight to the battery.

i believe theres a hole on the passenger side, just pull the carpet back

That's correct, if you pull the carpet back on the passengers side, there is a foam like plug just below the glovebox on the back wall. You can easily snake a wire right through there.
