Re: How is this offer?

We aren't buying the truck, you are.......

Do you feel as though you are getting a good deal??

If not, have them throw in some free oil changes or something........

Good luck!

Re: How is this offer?

Looks like they are only knocking of 4K from MSRP, not including your rebates/incentives? I would try and get a little more out of them, especially if your credit is good.

Re: How is this offer?

I think they're running really close to invoice, deal looks sweet to me,but really it's what you are comfortable with that matters. Keep in mind your are buying the best truck money can buy! Enjoy it!

Re: How is this offer?

Yeah, they're giving me invoice minus incentives plus a little extra to get the truck to the dealer. I actually had 2 dealers fighting over the same truck, but one was about $800 lower than the other dealer. The other dealer called me and said they were loosing money on the deal (yeah right) and I didn't want to deal with someone like that. So, I went to another dealer and they pretty much went incentives minus rebates right on the spot. I probably could search or haggle for a better deal, but I'll need a truck on Friday as I'm returning my lemon lawed truck back to Ford.

The dealer I'm buying from is also going to let me drive a Titan for the week and also let me put over 900 miles on it. They're probably just doing it so I won't jump ship, but I don't mind that. I like this because it keeps my current truck parked until I turn it over to Ford. Less chance of me getting in an accident. I'd sure hate to lose my lemon law money with Ford due to something happening to my truck. Hopefully I'll be in a Titan by Friday.

Re: How is this offer?

I just bought a truck with pretty much the exact same options last week. I paid invoice minus the 5K rebate and the $500 Presidents Day weekend rebate. Sounds like a fair deal to me. Have you seen the chrome tailgate cover yet? I said the same thing about popping it off but after seeing it I'm waiting a few weeks to decide. The reason is that the LE's have a lot of chrome anyway so it doesn't look that out of place. By the way, my dealer said they would just swap tailgates with one on the lot. Probably a better option that popping the chrome off. It only takes a minute to do that.

Re: How is this offer?

I'm not sure what part of the country you are in, so, I do not know if $9100 off the MSRP is a good deal or not. I drove 100 miles last month and got $9620 off the MSRP on my new '08.

Good luck!

Re: How is this offer?

$4100 off MSRP plus $5k in rebates for a total of $9100 is a smoking hot deal.Probably the only way a dealer could do better is to rape on a trade- in and supplement the deal with cash from the back end,or from financing, gap ins or extended warranty etc etc....
I've seen some members brag about what they paid, one guy going so far to post his contract,he got a GREAT deal on the price of the truck, but was laughed out of here on what he paid in extras to obtain his "hardball" price. The dealer definetely got the best of him.
Dealers can't stay in business if EVERY deal is on the skinny!
Go into Best Buy and try and get them to sell you a Plasma HD at cost, they're probably making more on TV's then some dealers make on a car.
The deal sounds very fair!

Re: How is this offer?

Yeah, I didn't have to haggle with them to get them down to the invoice price. I knew the truck I wanted was still there and wanted to see if I could get 2 dealers to fight over it. I said I'd sign papers today if they gave me invoice minus incentives on the truck that had everything I wanted, and they were ok with that. Easiest car buying experience I've ever had. I wish I could get a VPP number and get a little more off.

Agreed. However, it does look like a good deal on paper.

Re: How is this offer?

Sorry to hijack this thread but I didnt want to start another thread.

I own a Dark Gray 2007 Titan Crew Cab SE 4WD with Pop Pkg with Rockford Fosgate, Tow Pkg, and Util Pkg and 10,300 miles.

I really want to trade it in for the exact same one in 2008 (Pro 4X SWB with same exact options, except add a MOONROOF to it). The main reason for the trade is the better interior and I really want a moonroof. USAA Car Buying Service is offering it at $30,508 after incentives. I cant negotiate this price apparently. Can I find this truck cheaper anywhere else, and how much will I get for the trade in on the 2007?

Oh almost forgot, I have the extended warranty till 100K miles on my 2007, can I sell that back or get any credit for it on the trade in?

When you go to find out how much you get for trade in wear a diaper, because you will shat your pants. I would say that you would loose at least $7k if you traded in an 07. That is just a guess, check KBB and see what they say trade in value is. You will be lucky to get a dealer to give you kbb trade in value, especially on a Titan when the new ones are selling for $10k off sitcker. I have an 07 LE OR loaded and I have had dealers call and offer for trade in for $25k if I buy a new one. They act like I am getting a deal. I paid $31k plus ttl, and I took a $2k loss on my old car.
You should be able to get a prorated credit for your extended warranty. Check your paper work. You should have started a new thread, not very nice to jack this guys thread.
