If anyone read the previous issue that I posted on the bed shake, just wanted to give you an update of what resolved the issue. I had stock Wrangler tires that were bad. The dealership road forced the tires accordingly to get them as close as possible to perfect. The shims had to be replaced on the tailgate pivots to reduce the movement and clanging going over bumps. I think the tailgate had a lot to do with the bed shaking, because of the pivots not being shimmed or tight. I hope this helps anyone out there that may be annoyed by this issue. I am now a happy Titan owner except for the RF stereo system.
Thanks for all of the replies previously on this issue. This site can be a big help to people experiencing problems. Look forward to talking to you all in the future!
I'm taking mine in on Friday morning to have the dealer install the special order shims. I'm hoping that this will take care of the problem.
Thanks for the update!

It just sounds flat and not what I expected. The highs and mid range are not good. No clarity.
No idea why Nissan has to play games with their audio systems. The Bose they use in the Quest is outstanding compared to the RF. I've not heard the Bose in the Armada yet. Why do they have 2 premium systems? Makes no sense to have the RF offering.

i thought the same thing about having two systems.
the bose that i had in my 02 max se was a lot better, he11, the bose in my 97 pathy was great too. that thing would never distort, no matter how loud you turned it up....
I've placed two calls into the Nissan rep that worked with another member in regards to the 08 issues and have yet to hear back from him. I hate when people don't return calls...

I agree on the Bose system. My wife has it in her Maxima and it is great. They should have put that in the Titan.
As for the Nissan Rep, mine was excellent in following up with me and trying to make sure I was happy. I told them that I wanted Nissan to buy it back from me if they could not fix the problem. I believe the tailgate is already getting loose again though. It is a poor design and need to come out with a recall on it or something.
Good luck to everyone and thanks for all the input.
My dealer installed the special order shims today on my Titan. I need to take it out for a drive because I couldn't tell a difference today when in traffic.

I actually modified my pivots or whatever you call them on the tailgate with some doubled sided tape. It doesn't move a bit now. It sucks when you buy a truck with warranty and you still have to work on it yourself to get it right.
If any of you guys are having the problem with the tailgate, remove the tailgate from the left side and remove the bushing. Put some doubled sided tape or weatherstrip around the bushing and the part on the truck and wiggle it back into place. A really tight fit, but not sure how long it will last.
The dealer said they replaced mine, but it didn't seem like it helped. Hope this helps you guys out there with this problem. Which I am sure most of you are smart enough to think of that on your own.
