its definitely legit. according to my scangauge, i can get 20 mpg when goin between 46 and 54mph. of course thats definitely not the average, but its what i get when im crusing. at 54, i get right at 20. all i have is an S&B intake, and flowmaster 40's.

Not trying to sound rude or anything, but honestly what was the point of this video? What vehicle won't get 20+ mpg cruising at 50mph? If you could get that with mixed in town/highway driving or even cruising at 75mph-80mph it would be awesome, but to me this vid was pointless.
meg - There were some naysayers in other threads that have said "20mpg in a Titan is impossible."
Hence the video. So since I discovered this a month ago or so I've been grandpa driving when I have to travel long distances. Saves money.
Oh ok, well it makes sense to post it if they said it was impossible. Haha I'd rather spend the extra $$ in gas, I couldn't stand to drive that slow if I had a choice. Not to mention, you would probably get run over for doing that down here, people don't drive very friendly in Fl. lol
Averaging 20MPG is the key, that is what they meant when they said it is impossible. I can hook up my software and show 22-23 MPG just cruising at 60 on a flat road, but that is not even close to my average.

You're kidding me right? I have hit reset on mine on a long downhill grade, put the trans in neutral and after about 3/4 mile it read 98MPG,like wise if I reset before going up that same grade,it reads about 2 MPG
This video is useless.
Again, that video is pointless and shows absolutely nada. Thats simply a vacuum guage and is only meant to give a ballpark figure. I can show 40 MPG and higher on that guage....just let off the gas or point her downhill while in cruise. But no, you're not likely to get 20 MPG in a Titan as an average.

Yep - I understand and made it clear that this was not about averages! Just a fun experiment.
some of you are way to serious..I have a 6hp go cart that will run about 25-30mph and gets 1million miles per tank. the tank is .765321 gallons.
I can go zero miles on a whole tank of gas in my driveway..ill post video tomorrow of that. It maybe a LOOOOOOOOOONG video..a day and a half maybe...ha
