Re: Cheapest place for a 08 volant CAI..

Just buy a used one and clean/re-oil it. They will fit the 08's if you don't believe me I can post a pic later of it on my 08 and I have a tb spacer as well.

I don't believe there's any difference, intake-wise, on any model Titan. A CAI for an 04 will fit on an 08.

I just looked again socalmotorsports.com

they have 08 volants for the titan and they have a new design, also i new type of filter for them, the design looks different as well compared to the old square box types, mayeb these do fix the vibration problem.. check it out let me knwo what you guys think.

Re: Cheapest place for a 08 volant CAI..

Its the new powercore filter that is shaped different so a new airbox had to be made. They shipped out a few and the feedback was not good. They took them all back to redesign the airbox for a better fit. Never heard the outcome but there were plenty of folks that had placed orders that were waiting for the redesign of the redesign. Just go with a Gen3 and use both bolts to hold it down with the padding. You might get some vibration and you might not. Either way you will be making more power and torque.
