What do you think about off road light covers?

I recently installed some KC slimites and assumed the covers would complement the lights/chrome front end. They are a little thicker than I realized so need a little imput. Here are a few pics with and without the covers on. Let me know what you think.

I think it looks equal either way. Therefore since you already spent the money on the covers keep um on.

I like the look with the covers on, makes them seem more rugged.

Re: What do you think about off road light covers?

Those are covers?..........Looks much better with-out, looks like more plastic bling crap when they're on...Reminds me of something my 12 yr old would put on his bicycle...

My lights have covers also, but they're clear for all go and no show...

Covers on.

You catch a stone and you'll regret not having them on...

I like the covers on the best, but they look just fine without them. Nice job on the switch install.

Yeah worked out pretty good...I also have the black covers, but these clear ones stay on and of course protect the glass lens.
I'm working on a HID conversion for all 3 lights...Should really light up the night!

Re: What do you think about off road light covers?

I like them without... But for anti-lens damage probably a good idea to have them on..

Re: What do you think about off road light covers?

Thanks for the replies. I thought I would really like the covers, but once they were on, they stuck out way too far. I do like the protection they offer, but wish they were more flush with the lights.

I was also trying to get a hold of the old frontier switch that others have used, but the part had been discontinued and untill I find something else that looks more OEM, I'll just stick to this one.

I left the black center piece in there, but that made the install a lot harder. I had to dremel rounded notches in that center support because the lights were just a little too deep. Overall though, not a difficult install.

Steve

Wow, those turned out great! I'll have to put this project down on my future to do list...
