PICS PLEASE of KC lights mounted to the lower bumper
I've seen some users here with pics in their signature (IIRC) of KC lights or Hella lights mounted to their lower factory bumper. I don't have space in my garage to be able to mount a bull bar so mounting them to the lower bumper is my only feasible option. I have ordered the KC slim lights complete kit, and would appreciate any tips, pointers, and pics the users here will offer.
There's some kind of plastic piece in the lower bumper that looks like it could be removed pretty easily in order to make room for the KC lights. And I hope I wouldn't screw anything up by removing it.
Thanks in advance gentleman.

The plastic piece has three "body plugs" holding it in on the top. You can remove them and enlarge the hole to whatever size you need it. Here's a link to my write up for the Hella's, which should be similar to your KC's:

It is not hard to do, but does take time. I drilled through the lower mounting points (there are 4 total) and relieved the middle support in the black plastic lower grill insert to make room for the backs of the lights.

There you are. Yours is the picture I saw several days ago but I couldn't find again. I like the placement of our lights and I believe I'll try to replicate that on my own truck if you don't mind me being an unoriginal copy cat. Are your slim lights flood, driving or long range lights?
54warrior I also ordered this OEM switch from my local dealer this morning. It's a little cleaner looking and retains the OEM look. Thanks again for you guys informative posts.

OPTIONAL: (Image and information courtesy of AgTitan06) Nissan Part Number 999F1-6E000 can be used as a replacement for the provided switch as shown. Price is approximately $22. Well worth it in my opinion. I will be adding this to my setup later on.

Not KC's but some PIAA's. Same idea though.

Copy all you want. There are only so many ways to mount these. The two that I have are the long range off-road only lights (130W?).
Just an FYI, I tried ordering that exact switch a few weeks ago and was told they were discontinued. The parts guy said there were only 8 left in inventory across the US and would be difficult to get one. Your luck might be better than mine, though.

I also got the 130 watt long range lights. Did you remove the plastic piece in the air dam or did you end up notching it? I'm planning on notching it little by little until I remove enough material to accommodate the lights.
THe guy at the dealership told me he'd have that switch in in two days. We'll see about that.

Those look sharp. I imagine they're bright as hell too. Looks like you mounted them to the upper side of the air dam. I'll have to play around with the lights when I get them to see if I want to mount them to the upper or lower part of the dam. My initial impression was to mount them to the lower, but if they fit on the upper without having to notch the plastic shroud I may go with that.
Thanks for all the input today guys. I sincerely appreciate it.

Re: PICS PLEASE of KC lights mounted to the lower bumper
There are 3 mounting holes on the upper and 4 on the lower. I used the lower outside holes. I removed the black air dam, drilled out the lower outside mounts, then remounted the dam. Then I bolted the lights in place. If you want the lights farther apart, use the lower mount, otherwise use the upper as it is a lot easier to do.
Lights are very bright! Definitely let me know about the switch. My parts guy gave me the same 2-day line.

I put them in the upper just for sake of ease of mounting. Just had to widen the mounting holes slightly. No notching of plastic at all either. I did put a washer over the bolt in the bumper just for some stability. So far no shake!
