crappy gas?

A couple weeks ago I filled up at a Chevron in the hood and my truck wouldn't start the first couple tries. Every time I tried to start her up i'd have to wait a couple minutes before the next try before she'd start. I filled up the next time with 89 and my truck was running great. when my tank was empty I went back to 87 and the same problem again. Are they just making crappier gas or is there something else going on with my truck? should i try a fuel system cleaner or anything? 87 is at 3.55/gal and i'd hate to use 89!!

When I lived in the West, I had problems with Chevron.

I recommend dry gas and it should bond with any water vapor in your tank.
