Question Cooper Tires?

Has anyone used Cooper tires before? I am looking at the Cooper Discoverer ATR P-Metric. Anyone have any advice with these tires? Unfortunately there are not many 265/70R/18 sized tires.

Re: Cooper Tires?

I ran Cooper tires on a Mazda B2200 for 9 years.
Super sticky, well made. Lots of batman slides.

My dad ran 'em on his RV's and was very happy.
I will definitely look at them when it comes time to reskin the Titan.

Re: Cooper Tires?

I have Cooper Discoverer S/T tires and love them. This is the first set on my Titan, but I had two sets on my S-10 before. Got about 45k out of each set on the S-10. Great tires. I highly recommend them. You can click the link in my signature for pics.

Re: Cooper Tires?

I'm running the Discoverer ATR in the 265/70 R18 and absolutely love them. Been buying Cooper's for the past 15 years and don't have one complaint. The ATR will get you nice mailage with little road noise and great traction on both wet roads and snow and mud.

I see you are in PA, if in the Pittsburgh area check out Skander Tire Service in Evans City. Awesome guys, super prices and great service and support.

Re: Cooper Tires?

FYI: Cooper sells under the names of Mastercraft and Delta. I run nothing but this brand, on our fleet of Pickups at work. Usually Mastercraft Courser AT or HTR.

Bought the Delta Sierradial for my Titan. Better Mileage, super quiet. Not grippy though, but I expected that, due to what I bought them for. Excellent tires, many to choose from for the qualities you need.

Re: Cooper Tires?

Running Cooper Discoverer ATR's on my Titan and love them, caught rid of stocked BF Goodrich. The thread wore down on those after 30,000. So far no problems with my Cooper's purchased from Walt Tire Factory

Cool Re: Cooper Tires?

Thanks guys. You definitely helped me make up my mind. I never used Coppers before but now I think I will try them out. The stock Goodyears are awful. I can't wait to get good tires on the Titan!
