Screwed up

I screwed up & traded my 04 kc le 4x4 for a 07 chevy 1500 4x4.I done this back in june I was hoping to get better gas milage with the about same hp NOT. The Titain got around 14 mpg with tow pkg & the chevy gets 16.5 & the Titain has alot more power than the chevy.I have red some of the post on tt complaining about gas milage on the titain, it is about same as any other full sized truck with same gearing.Titain with tow pkg.=4.10 gears=around 14 mpg Titain wo tow pkg=3.73 gears=around 17 mpg. chevy with 4.10 gears= around13 mpg chevy with 3.73 gears= around 17 mpg. I ordered another titain should be here in3 to 4 weeks I hope. I MISS MY TITAIN!!

Don't beat yourself up over it. You tried the change for a reason. Enjoy the Chevy as long as you need to in order to get out of it and back into what you really want. I'm sure it'll serve you just fine. But when you're ready, they'll be a nice shiny new Titan with your name on it. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Re: Screwed up

Welcome back. Sucks you traded in the Titan to see what people have been saying on here all along....the gas mileage is relatively the same for 1/2 ton pick ups, no matter what make they are.
