I just want to know if this will fit in the dash of the Titan or not. Several things I have seen say it will NOT fit, but I am pretty sure other members have this same stereo/nav/dvd unit in their trucks.
So what's the official verdict? Circuit City has no interest on this thing until 2010 and I am just about ready to buy it but I want to know if it will fit for sure or not. Anyone?

My AVIC-D3 fit fine in my 08 Titan. You just have to make sure you route the wires downward and away from that large metal brace in the back of dash. Once you do that, the D3 fits perfectly fine.

You have two choices in life:
You can stay single and be miserable,
or get married and wish you were dead.
You sure you wanna go to Circuit City and spend 800+? You can get it from Amazon, Ebay, and plenty of other websites for around $540-590. I know the no interest is inviting but you're still wasting money.
I paid 699 from Best Buy as well. Got the 0 interest thing or whatever. Anyway, where in the hell do I get a dash adapter kit that is NOT for dual climate control zones? I bought one today at Best Buy and it does not work at all.
EDIT: Found one on eBay. Turns out the one I got is for the dual climate control equipped vehicles, which my XE is NOT, obviously.

Yep, it sure will! Be sure to add both Bluetooth and also a rear view camera.
Here are photos of the Avic D3 that I had in my '04 before it was totaled.

Got the AVIC D-3 installed. The only problem I am having is with the routing of the GPS antenna. Where did you all mount yours? For now, its on the dash with the cable running down through the door sill. It looks like hokey crap and I hate it like that, but I couldnt see many other options.

Mount the GPS antenna directly on top of the D3. Since the dash above the head unit is plastic, it gets a good signal just sitting there inside the dash.
I have mine mounted directly on top of the D3 itself and the antenna gets great signal strength.

That's an EXCELLENT idea. I didn't even think of that!
Yours works just fine that way?
