Off Road at Superlift ORV park Arkansas pics

http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...%20ORV%20park/

Went off roading last friday at the Superlift ORV park in Hot Springs, AR. It was snowing that day ironically. And we were the only ones there. Nice park and really nice staff.

The guy recommended to stay on level 1 and 2 trails with some easy 3's because of the slippery conditions but we ended up getting lost. Most of the signs were hidden in the snow and we must have passed them.

I ended up getting on a tougher path by accident. We pushed through most of it and I was amazed. It should have been a Titan commercial. The truck is stock. All I have is the PRG 2" leveling kit, 2* timing advance (thanks Landman) and 33" Toyo Open Country MT's.

The last pics don't do the trails justice as too how steep some of them were. We had a hard time walking through it, and slipped and fell a few times ourselves.

The last few pics are were I got stuck. It looked like an easy postion of the trail but it was a sharp turn right up and hill and the truck would not turn up into it because it was so slippery. I ended up sliding the truck around the turn to get a better angle and got stuck trying to push up the hill in already loose mud from the sliding. I could have backed out of it no problem but there was a steep hill right behind me so it didn't help.

The park manager pulled us out after and embarassing call to his office. But he was really nice and seemed to enjoy giving us a hand.

I would go back save the fact that all the shrubbery on those tight trails did a number on my paint. I spent half the day polishing and waxing the truck do get most of the scratches out. Also I came inches from hitting trees and some of the tighter areas. Alot of the trees were lating into the trail since the were heavy with snow. I think it would have been better if it was drier and I stayed on the more novice trails. Anyway...... if your ever in AR and I am only here for a few weeks for work. You check it out.
