08 Keyless entry???

Hey guys I was just curious to see if on your 08 when you lock the doors with the keyless remote does your horn sound? Also when you unlock the truck do the lights flash? On my 08 the only thing that my truck does is the lights flash when the doors are locked. I am not sure but I dont think this is correct but I could be wrong. Thanks again for all your help.

Its a real easy option to set. I turned the horn honking off on mine because that horn is damn loud in the middle of the night when you lock your doors.. lol

Yeah I kinda figured it might be an opition but I have not had to time to hit up the owners manual to see. I will have to look that up when I get back in town. Thanks Hav

just press and hold your lock and unlock buttons at the same time to toggle between the two options...

ya you just have to hold it down for about 3 seconds i think or until either the lights flash(the horn is off) or the horn sounds and lights flash. Something cool i found out too is if you hold down the unlock button for a few seconds the windows will all roll down

Yeah I found that one out the hard way when I came out one morning to find 3" of snow in my wife's Pathfinder... sucked!

I hate that feature!

I now have an aftermarket remote start/alarm in my truck which uses a different remote. Next time I make it to the dealer with the wife's vehicle I'm going to ask them if they can disable the window feature, I've read somewhere that they can.

I never want to clean snow out of her interior again!

also note, if you have the horn feature turned ON, and lock the truck with the door AJAR/OPEN, the horn will NOT honk.....

useful feature for those late nights!!!
