I paid $32,000 for my LE no lift kit IMO you got hosed Nissan is selling trucks with $10,000 off msrp. If I were you I would renegotiate that deal, if it isn't too late. Truck prices are dropping all around due to the economy woes resale is in the tank, its a buyers market out there take advantage of it. I would get your lift kit some where else besides the dealer do some shopping I know you can beat that price as well.

The dealership added an additional $5,000 for the lift kit, tires, and wheels.
Ok, now take off the $5000 cash back, and another $5k because that's about what they're taking off the price of Titans today and there's still no way I'd pay $35k for a base XE...lifted of otherwise.

Yo, nice deal. Any trade in? That was after the rebate? Any cash out of pocket?
After the rebate and dealer discount,no cash out of pocket. I had an old beater I traded and got $2500 for, but I added that back in to come up with the $30007.85, $27,507.85+ the trade.

Sorry to burst your bubble but yes it does look like a work truck. its the little things that make a big difference in looks. right away the plastic sticks out like a sore thumb. door handles, mirrors, front bumper, grey rear bumper, no side moldings. your truck looks like an XE with SE wheels. dont kid yourself, im not putting you down but an xe is an xe A WORK TRUCK
Man I really love my new Titan LE. I got it for $30,890. Almost fully loaded everything except the DVD package. I have noticed some things & was wondering if it is normal. One is around 35-40 mph it kinda jumps back and forth a bit, several times it actually pulsed like it was stuck, but hasn't done it recently. Also, is it normal that it pulls back like going into a lower gear when I let off the accelerator. Also, the Rockford system is ok, but couldn't the speakers be much better. Any help from other 2008.5 Titan owners would be appreciated.
Congrads on the XE! Its not all bad, just think. Mod for mod, your truck is faster because its already lighter The wife and I enjoy my XE and have no regrets getting it(other then getting the club cab but I bought the truck before we knew she was preggers). Its still all good.

Are the door handles on an SE or LE metal or are they plastic with chrome plating or chrome outer shell? My XE crew cab came with power windows and locks, keyless entry, offroad package, 6-disk changer, cruise, and carpet inside. Have you ever even seen a work truck before?

Mods: PRG Spacers, 17x9" Eagle 187s (+2mm offset) w/ 315 70-17 BFG All-Terrain KO tires, Stillen Diff Cover, Alpine Type-R components in the front, coax. in the rear w/ 50 x 4 Rockford Fosgate Amp, XM, Debadged, and Homemade RCA pre-outs on in-dash changer.
I've got an XE and besides the big tow mirrors and lower gearing. I have everything I want and nothing I dont. I have power windows, locks. I prefer bench over the captains chairs. Color matched bumber and grill. And not having to worry about the chrome rear bumper I was able to paint it black myself. Mine only cost $24,000 out the door. Including all my mods I'm still under $27,000. Looks better then a stock Pro 4x too.

Sorry to burst YOUR bubble but, whomever told you that you have even the slightest ounce of couth....lied to you! That's coming from ME...and I'm the one known for not holding anything back! Why would you come here and blatantly bash someones truck like that and try to belittle them with such disregard for their feelings? And then to add "im not putting you down"...priceless. Someone piss in your morning cereal today? I'm glad you were born with that silver spoon in your mouth pal, but not everyone has that luxury.
BTW....For 08, all but the LEs come with the black mirrors and handles.
