Check engine light????

why the F.U.C.K is ths comming on when i only have 2500 miles on my brand new 08 titan?????

Take off your gas cap and put it back on making sure it clicks a few times. That is most likely what it is.

Very common for the folks who insist on refeuling while the engines running....or to those who don't put the cap back on properly.

I had the same problem,talked to a friend that happens to be a parts manager at a local nissan dealer!First question was,do you stop at the first click when filling up or do you put more in?My reply was I continued to top off.He said try stopping at the first click,because the excess tube feeds directly into the charcoal canister and cause the canister to fill resulting in a code that baasicly reads a major vacuum leak.I have filled up twice since then and stopped at the first click,no engine light!Try this,if it does not work you might try a new fuel cap.Chances are this will probably fix it!
