2008 pro4x tranny leak

well i just changed the oil in my new titan, and when i was under there i noticed a wet spot and sure enough my transmission is leaking, so i have to call and make an appointment, there is only 3000 miles on her!!!

That sucks but glad you found it before it left you stranded, and was undriveable. Now they can fix or replace the parts on a planned occasion.

Where was it leaking from? The seal against the block, drain plug, drive shaft, or where? Really odd for one to start that quickly.

That sucks, a buddy of mine at work has an Impala SS with only 3K on, and he just got it back from a week in the shop because of leaking tranny, they had to replace the hole transmission housing.

it looks like the gasket, but im not sure ,the wind from driving it had it blew around pretty good, i will try to look tonight after it sits for a couple hours, but yea it sucks it leaks already, im gonna call today to schedule an appointment and also get the ac switch recall done at the same time..ill let you know what was leaking

well the dealer called me on friday an said it was the pinion seal in the transfer case that was leaking siaid they would have one on tuesday and it would be done, that kinda gets me mad, since they gave me a piece of crap dodge stratus to drive......

That's better than a leaky tranny though. You know there's no tranny damage from a lack of fluid. Still sucks that you have to bring in a new truck.
