$$ for headers install??

I guess my exhaust manifold(s) are cracked, because there is a god awful sound from under the hood under acceleration, but goes away once warmed up.

So since it's cheaper to buy headers, JBA shorty's, versus paying to replace OEM manifolds (I'm over the 80K warranty on these...by about 3k miles

)

My ? is what should I expect to pay for installation from a shop? I'm not going to attempt it myself, it would be very ugly.

6-8 hours of labor. $80 per hour. =$600-$700

nobody else has payed for installation? or is this what you payed also?

Dealers will not normal install any thing else except Factory Manifolds.
I did my own JBA's & had a local shop weld my Cats on after removing my Nismo headers. Then put Nismo's on another truck..
If your truck is 4x4 it adds time.
I know of a Muffler Shop that did Parts & Labor for @ $750 range for JBA headers.

I was quoted in the 700 range to install nismo's by the dealer.
