Unhappy Steering Rack crapping out

Just wondering if anyone knows if the power steering rack is covered under pre-owned extended warranty Here's a link to covered parts, it's about half way down. Don't want to go to dealer and pay deductible and then them say it's not covered. I'll just do it myself then. Thanks.

Re: Steering Rack crapping out

After doing a little troubleshooting on my own and with Greg(PRG), I am not sure it is the rack and pinion. I am getting a clunk or pop when I back out of a parking spot or driveway. The noise is more noticeable when the steering wheel is slightly turned, that's why I thought it was the rack and pinion. Also it only does it consistently after the truck has been sitting for awhile. If I start truck up, back out it pops or clunks, I can pull back into where I came from and back out again and most of the time it doesn't do it again, until truck sits awhile. Any ideas
