What do you store in your bedside box?

Just wondering what you guys use your storage deal thingy behind the drivers rear tire for? I sorta wish it wasn't there, but that's the only thing I don't care for on the truck.

Re: What do you store in your bedside box?

A small jack (in case I get a flat when towing my boat or other trailer); work gloves, bungee cords, rags, seven foot bike cable and lock (in case I have to leave my trailer anywhere, I can secure it to something). I recently opened the box on my truck for the first time all winter. Was disappointed to find a lot of condensation in it and everything covered with a small amount of rust. Had to leave it open for a few hours in the sun to dry it out. I'm pretty sure having a couple of rags in it helped to hold moisture.

Re: What do you store in your bedside box?

Yeah.. here's one of about 6 I found....

storage box contents

I just keep stray human body parts in there from the pedestrians I run over when they stray into a crosswalk without the "WALK" sign. It's not really bad. Consider it "population control"....

Re: What do you store in your bedside box?

That's one of my favorite features on my truck! I just wish it was deeper to fit a small toolbox, and on the passenger side so it would be safer to get into if you're stopped on the side of the road.

I just have rope & utili-trac cleats in mine. My jumper cables are 20' long so they won't fit.
