I dont want to but i think im trading the titan in fore a gas sipper. Iv been spending $900 a month a gas. Iv been thinking of geting the masda3speed. I still think it will be as quick as the titan. they have a 265 hp tubo 2.3 that gets like 21 mph. I dont know yet. What do you guys think?

Keep the truck and do what I did...pick up a used gas sipper and keep the truck in the garage! I picked up an 01 Bug that gets 35 MPG for under $7k... I get to use the truck when I want and the gas sipper when I need.

Bought an 01 galant, gets 28mpg for 2K. Still have the beast to drive when I want to. The car saves me $200 a month, and I only drive it to work, then park it and get in the Titan.
Keep the Titan and get one of these as your daily driver: (see images below)
Suzuki DRZ 400S. It gets 45-50 M.P.G. and it's 100% street-legal. fun too.
ive seriously considered doin this...got a YZ250F that i dont even really ride off road anymore. but its a pretty good trip to school for me, and i dont like the idea of driving a motorcycle on major roadways (i know, im a pansy).
but for $900 a month in gas alone??? i definately wouldnt blame you for trading it in.
i'm in the same boat as you, wife has 06 impala ss 22mpg on highway city driving is comical to say the least, titan at 15 to 17mpg and last but not least a bass boat that gets 2 nautical mpg. oil companies suck. filled up today in marshall texas $3.39 per gallon.

$3.39 per gallon would be nice i just payed $4.05 fore 91 and i get about 12 to 13 mpg
156 miles round trip. if i ditch the titan payment and gas bill i could buy another house
Damn, I have a bunch of friends that do 50-75 round trip but 156!!!! That is insane. They better be paying you mucho dinero!
Like others, I say to just get a second car that gets good gas mileage for that commute. If I had a longer commute I would get a car with better gas mileage myself. I keep buying cars with horrible MPG though. Then again, those are the fun ones!

Why is your commute so darn long? What do you do?...sorry so nosey, I just can't imagine having a 2.5 hr commute! I just broke the 6 figure mark this year...they STILL couldn't get me to drive that far to work! Bless you! lol
