In my friends old 89 chevy we used the windshield washer fluid resivior to stash the beer, then ran the hose through the firewall under the steering wheel so it was always readily at hand by just switching on the wipers.

funny thing is i perused over this thread probably 20 times not realizing what it might be about then just now it clicked...

i was wondering the same because I am headed up there tomorrow.

I have 3 camel packs...the bladders fit a handle in each. Poured them in, duct taped the hell out of them, then taped them strategically in the undercarriage/under the truck (as far away from all sources of heat as possible).

Then again, it pays to know some of the people running it. So they are just bringing me an extra handle
