idiot dash indicators

All the gremlins are starting to come out in my Titan. the last 7-10 days when I start my truck up in the morning, I'll back out of the garage and the SLIP and BRAKE lights will come on. Sometimes the BRAKE light will turn off in a minute of so, but the SLIP light stays on until I shut off the truck and restart it. But it never happens when I start it up mid-day. I do start up multiple times during the day as I use the truck for work.

And I think I have the effing exhaust manifold cracks. probably been 2-3 months now, but I hate dealing with the dealership.

I have this problem too! 05 LE..

Having my manifolds replaced with JBA headers that arrived yesterday but the problem with the lights is not getting fixed... My local dealer can't delve deeper into the problem as I'm in Dubai and they don't have all the codes for US models!! Gotta see if the main dealer can help tomorrow...

They said that its a computer problem but not sure if its the ECU (or whatever) or the booster or something else...

Does your speedo stop working too???

Any luck with yours??

The brake light will come on iof the fluid is low. Check that first.

I did check that, and levels seemed fine. But I had also seen a small puddle under the truck one day, and it didn't seem to be brake fluid. wasn't sure if it was even from mine, but I think it was. It was at about the drivers side corner of the bed and cab.

I don't understand the SLIP thing though. Why does it go off after I re-start, and doesn't come on again until the morning. I make multiple start/stops throughout the day as I use it for a service vehicle for work.

I was getting a slip light, and the dealer replaced the pressure switches on the master cylinder. They told me that they had a bad batch of switches and it was a very commone problem.
