Air Conditioning Needs an EXORCISM!

I've got a 2008.5 SE CC with 3,500 miles. I noticed my AC would blow at different speeds while on one setting, but I dismissed it thinking it was just new car paranoia. Then the other day, I had the AC running on the lowest speed when all of a sudden it blew on FULL BLAST. Scared the $HIT outta me! The AC went back to its original speed setting after a minute or so. Anyone have this problem? Anyone know a good exorcist who can help my possessed truck???

Re: Air Conditioning Needs an EXORCISM!

Sometimes my a/c unit clicks. It only happens at random times and when it does, its extremely annoying. When i try to show people what it does, it wont do it. Only when i'm driving by myself or once in a while my g/f will hear it too. Let me know if you find a good exorcist for your a/c, maybe you can send him my way too! Or vice versa. Good luck with it

Re: Air Conditioning Needs an EXORCISM!

Mine makes a small click when turned on, always has and I've got 50K on it. Also, my fan has always varied in speed, not much but noticeable, when set at one setting. I assume it normal and truck on!

Same problem here. It has only happened once. I have about 9,000 on my 08.

Re: Air Conditioning Needs an EXORCISM!

I have had the same issue with my 2008 since Aug. But it would only act up on long trips of 2 hours or more. My truck was taken in 3 times for this same problem. Of course the dealer would say they can't replicate it so they can't fix the problem. On the last visit they even did an evac'/recharge hoping that it would fix the problem.

Well it finally did it again today on the way home from work, while stuck in traffic. I went straight to the dealer and would not let anyone shut the key off until someone checked it out. They called Nissan engineering and were told to replace the VBS Resistor. I had already had the AC recall done. Afterward the service manager informed me that Nissan engineering says this is an ongoing problem with the 2007-2008 Titans. Also they opened up a case file just incase I have any more issues with this.

Guys if your AC is acting wacky, talk to your service manager about replacing the VBS Resistor. Hopefully this will help get your issue resolved.
