Just finished detailing the truck! I used a ton of the tips in the Detailing & Care forums, took the best suggestions and put them all together! I attached some pics!

Looks like you did an excellent job!! I was just wondering what products you used. I just got a bunch of stuff in from Adam's but haven't had a chance to try them out yet. About the only procedure I haven't tried yet is the clay bar. I keep reading rave reviews so I am going to have to try it.

You have to try the clay bar. I was a non believer until Friday, when I did my truck. Then I did the OL's on Saturday. It works amazing, and easy to do too.
Yeah, the clay bar is amazing. I really was not sure how good of a job it was going to do, or now easy it was going to be, but it is just as easy as washing your car. You have to do small sections at a time and knead it every once in a while, but on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it about a 3. Read some of the Tips & Tricks in the Detail section.
For products, i used armor all Exreme Shine gel on the tires, Meguires NXT 2.0 for the wax, and Meguiars Clay bar (package comes with a liquid wax, detailing spray, microfiber cloth and 2-50 gram clay bars for $18.99, thought it was a pretty good deal).
I highly recommend using a leaf blower to dry it, that was one of the tips Skyboi gave me and it is totally awesome!
i spent all weekend doing mine. could have done it in a day, but with 2 kids its kinda hard to devote that much consecutive time. anyways, i washed, clayed, polished, and waxed/sealed mine. the polishing is what amazed me, i had some pretty nasty scratches and it really made them a lot less noticeable.
as mentioned above, the clay bar is a "must-do" step. then the polishing w/ a Dual-action buffer to remove the fine scratches or worse will make your truck ready for some serious waxing. i wish i could keep my truck looking like this all the time.
Yeah, I never heard of clay bar until I started reading on the forum, it is awesome how smooth the finish is and how nice it makes it look. The change was not huge for the truck as it is only 6 months old, but I also did my wife's 3 year hold Jeep Liberty, and that looks like a completely different vehicle, you should see how much dirt and crap came off that thing!
