TPMS light after 30 min @ 55mph

I have never trusted my TPMS since I had the truck. I once had a front tire with only 16PSI in it and the light never went on. I have never seen that light turn on for any reason...until now.

I started setting my cruise at 55 when on the highway and gained about 3mpg but I noticed after driving exactly 30 minutes @ 55mph, the TPMS light would turn on. It does this every time. It then turns off if I restart the truck.

Does anyone know why this is happening or what it means??

well.... i have had my 04 since the end of 04 when it was new.

it wasn't until i swapped out my wheels that i realized i never was issued the TPMS with the stock wheels.

I did however notice that after 45 minutes @ 70 MPH the dash light would come on....

with the new wheels it does something similar... so i'm not sure if they actually work as i've never had them!
